"Toastworks Productions", started appearing on music released in the late 90s, and provided a way to unify a number of releases and provide a link among them in the southern Connecticut indie-pop scene.
It soon grew to encompass a much larger style set of music, but still embodied the same DIY ethic with local artists providing artwork, and the cassette and CD packages being assembled by the bands most of the time.
