An alternative, indie rock group possessing a vintage sound with modern style using contemporary indie and 60’s/70’s rock influences.

In the Fall of  2007, Phonolux began writing and rehearsing original material at an  expedited rate and it wasn’t long before the wheels were put into motion to record their first album, which was recorded and produced by the band themselves. The San Antonio Current reviewed it here.

In 2010, work began on recording their second self-produced album.
