SiMent formed in late 1996 and disbanded in
2005.
In 2013, SiMent wrote a new album of songs as a fundraising effort for Brian McGarry's memorial fund. Each song was custom-written for the first 10 contributors to the fund. The album, Names, was released in 2014.
